A Large E-Commerce Business is seeking an Assistant Buyer to join their growing team.
The ideal candidate is a skillful negotiator with experience in merchandising.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting the buyer with the selection of the right product mix.
- Writing, placing and tracking purchase orders.
- Ensuring products are purchased at the right time, to specification and at the correct price.
- Researching new suppliers and negotiating with vendors while building positive long term relationships.
Skills Needed:
- Fantastic communication skills
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure
- Organized with great time-management skills
Requirements
- 1+ years experience in the merchandising or ecommerce industry
Location: Lakewood, NJ
Hours: Full-time
Salary: $50-85K
