A Private real estate company is seeking to hire an Accountant.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive and detail oriented professional who possesses excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities Include:

• Performing monthly bank reconciliations

• Assisting in preparation of required financial statements

• Reviewing accuracy of GL coding and advise AP and AR teams on required corrections and adjustments

• Helping identify improvements that can be made to internal control and general financial procedures

Skills Needed:

• Strong communication skills

• Strong mathematical skills

• Highly organized

• Understanding of basic finance, accounting and bookkeeping principle

Requirements:

• 1-3+ years of accounting experience (salary commensurate with experience)

• Exposure to real estate accounting is a plus

• Yardi Voyager experience is a plus

Location: 5 Towns, NY

Hours: Full-time

Salary: $80-110k
