Job Description

A large Manufacturing Company is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Controller.

The successful candidate must have experience in Cost Accounting.

 

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the company’s fiscal activity, including budgeting, reporting, and auditing

• Performing the month-end close and maintaining internal controls

• Identifying and addressing financial risks and opportunities for the company

• Ensuring consistent corporate financial strategy through a range of avenues such as managing and allocating accounts, financial statements, and tax data

Skills:

• Ability to strategize and solve problems

• Ability to stay calm under pressure

• Highly analytical 

• Strong leadership and communication skills

Requirements:

• Experience in Cost Accounting

• Strong financial and/or accounting background

• In-depth knowledge of financial law and risk management practices

Location: Newark, NJ

Hours: Full-time

Salary: $125-155k
