Job Description

A growing supplies company is seeking a dynamic and motivated Receptionist/Social Media Coordinator to join their team.

In this dual role, you will be responsible for managing front desk operations and handling essential receptionist duties while also developing and executing effective social media strategies. You will ensure excellent customer engagement, drive brand growth across various social media platforms, and support daily office tasks. The ideal candidate is a creative, organized individual with strong communication skills and an ability to multitask effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement social media strategies across platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) to drive engagement, growth, and brand visibility. Create, schedule, and manage posts, updates, and content that resonate with the target audience.

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries, comments, and messages on social media, ensuring positive engagement. Monitor trends and analytics to adjust strategies for optimal performance.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional campaigns, contests, and initiatives that align with company goals. Help drive traffic to the company website through social media campaigns and optimized content.

  • Greet visitors and customers professionally, manage phone calls, emails, and office schedules. Perform light administrative duties, including managing office supplies and maintaining a clean front desk area.

Skills required:

  • Proficiency in managing social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) and using social media management tools. Ability to create compelling content that resonates with diverse audiences.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers, clients, and team members both online and in person.
  • Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and manage time efficiently, especially when balancing both receptionist and social media duties.
  • Basic graphic design knowledge using tools like Canva or Adobe Spark to create visually appealing content. Ability to write creative and engaging copy for social media posts, captions, and advertisements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in social media management and content creation.
  • Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role is preferred.
  • Basic graphic design experience (Canva, Adobe Spark, or similar).
