Job Description
A large Special Education Services Provider is seeking a part-time Assistant Bookkeeper to join their office team.
The Assistant Bookkeeper will be responsible for providing support to the accounting team by assisting in various bookkeeping tasks.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records by entering and verifying data in the accounting system.
- Preparing and processing invoices, bills, and payments accurately and in a timely manner.
- Reconciling bank statements and other financial documents to ensure the accuracy of recorded transactions.
- Assisting in the preparation of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Skills needed:

- Great communication skills
Requirements:
- Some familiarity with QuickBooks is a big plus
- Computer proficiency
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Hours: Part-time (4-5hrs/day)
Salary: $20-30/hr depending on experience level
