Job Description

A Homecare Agency is seeking an HR Specialist to join their team of 100 employees.

The successful candidate’s primary responsibility will be to manage and enhance employee relations initiatives, ensuring that team members feel supported, valued, and engaged.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee relations, job satisfaction, and overall workplace morale.
  • Act as a point of contact for employees to address concerns, grievances, and conflicts in a confidential and empathetic manner.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws, regulations, and agency policies, and update policies as needed to maintain legal and ethical standards.
  • Prepare HR-related reports and metrics for management review, providing insights into employee relations trends and performance.

Skills needed:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with employees at all levels.
  • High-level emotional intelligence.
  • Proactive.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify challenges, propose solutions, and make data-driven decisions.

Requirements:

  • Sound knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Prior experience in an HR role.
