A large Manufacturing Company is seeking a Production Scheduler.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating and optimizing production schedules to meet customer demands and maximize operational efficiency.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer orders, production capacity, and inventory levels, ensuring on-time delivery.
- Collaborate with the sales team to review customer orders, specifications, and deadlines, and communicate any scheduling constraints or potential issues.
- Analyze production requirements and capacity constraints to optimize scheduling and resource allocation, maximizing productivity and efficiency.
- Coordinate with procurement and inventory management to ensure timely availability of raw materials, components, and supplies required for production.
- Monitor and track the progress of production orders, identifying any delays or bottlenecks, and taking proactive measures to mitigate them.
- Communicate production schedules and priorities to the manufacturing team, providing clear instructions and timelines for each job.
