A Company that designs, develops, and sells small kitchen appliances is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team.

The successful candidate will ensure the company’s accounts receivable is up to date and accurate at all times

Responsibilities include:

• Reviewing payment information, including checks, wire transfers, and credit card payments, and ensuring that they match the amount owed.
• Recording payment information correctly and following up on any discrepancies.
• Contacting customers who have outstanding balances and working with them to resolve any issues or disputes. This could involve sending reminders, making phone calls, and sending collection letters.
• Generating reports as needed.

Requirements:

• At least 3-5 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related field.
• strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Experience with accounting software.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field preferred.
• Experience with major retail accounts is a plus (Target, Walmart, Amazon, etc.)

Location: Mahwah, NJ

Hours: Full-time

Salary: $80k
