Job Description
A Real Estate Investment Firm is seeking to hire an organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper.
The Bookkeeper will play a crucial role in maintaining financial records and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the firm’s accounting processes.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations
- Processing invoices, receipts, and payments, ensuring proper classification, coding, and authorization
- Performing regular bank and credit card reconciliations to verify transactions and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Preparing and processing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
Skills needed:
- Highly analytical
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Organized
- Great time management skills
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper in the real estate or investment industry.
- Proficiency in bookkeeping software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
